Our Team
Maria Eugenia Garré
Director - Owner of Casa Veda
Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Certified Yoga Therapist, and movement specialist. Casa Veda, represents the culmination of my work across three decades in wellness, movement education, and integrative healing—supported by study, assisting, advanced training, clinical practice, and years of professional leadership in these fields. I have guided health and wellness for over 30 years, weaving together Yoga, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and functional movement as a living path of self-healing and transformation.
Born in Buenos Aires and raised in the United States, life has always moved me between worlds—cultures, languages, and ways of knowing. My formal academic background includes studies in Philosophy, Biomedical Science, and Education, shaping the way I teach: with clarity, warmth, and an emphasis on real-life application. Over time and devotion to the roots and living tradition of Vedic wisdom—particularly Yoga and Ayurveda—became the center of my work, both personally and professionally.
I have focused much of my work on the Western integration of Yoga and Ayurveda for self-healing, teaching, and clinical practice. For more than 20 years, I have taught, presented and assisted my teachers worldwide supporting the evolution of Yoga therapy and Ayurveda in modern healthcare and education. Grateful to the Krishnamacharya Lineage, mentorship and sacred teachers: Janine Galati, Dr. Vasant Lad, Sonia Masocco, Shiva Rea, Bernd Roessler. Robert Svoboda, and Claudia Welch that have truly inspired my path.

Yosly Vanessa Barraza
AyurShala Therapist
Yosly Vanessa Barraza was born in Nicaragua, and Costa Rica became the home that welcomed her and shaped her path. Living close to nature and the ocean, she draws daily inspiration from their steady guidance, balance, and presence.
Yoga entered Yosly’s life as a practice of deep connection and inner listening. Through it, she learned that the practice adapts to the person—not the person to the practice—honoring each body, each season, and each stage of life. Motherhood has been one of her greatest spiritual initiations, teaching her to nourish herself first, live with integrity, and lead by example in cultivating a more conscious, healthy life.
For over a year, Yosly has been devoted to self-healing and study, integrating ancestral wisdom—especially Ayurveda—alongside yoga, massage, and holistic therapies. With the guidance of Maria and the warmth of Casa Veda, she lovingly supports clients in reconnecting with their essence and natural capacity for well-being.
